Customers applications:

I would like to combine 2-photon imaging of neurons with optogenetic stimulation (light stimulation of an inhibitory opsin, or ion channel, that once activated, would silence the neurons).

This would require that the light stimulation would be triggered at the end of each imaging scan period. And so, the light source needs to be modulated at 16kHz, but each light pulse needs to be around 10us brief.

For this, I already have a very fast driver, that could trigger a laser diode for example. And so, I am looking for a laser diode around 595-600nm, because this range of wavelengths is ideal for stimulating the inhibitory opsin.
