C-Mount laser diode packages offer a small, industry-standard footprint with built-in screw mounting.
These are 808nm laser diodes with C-mount package type. Check these products of 808nm DPSS laser for industrial applications.
808nm C-mount Laser Diodes is widely used C-mount IR lasers.
In laser technology, a C mount is a method of packaging a laser diode using an alloy of copper and tungsten (CuW, hence "C mount") as a heatsink for the laser component.
Typical wavelengths of laser energy generated by C mount devices are between 680 and 980 nm, and with a typical output power rating of up to 7 watts. They are one of three commonly used mounts for laser assemblies, the others being the T-can or TO-can for Transistor Outline Package TO-5 and the so-called "butterfly" mount
Unlike the TO-8, TOSA, or butterfly packages, the laser chip of C-mount laser is exposed without protection to the chip or its bond wires. User should be knowledgeable in the handling and mounting of this type package. The C-mount is highly desired when other optical components need to be in very close proximity to the front facet. Even though the C-mount is a very good heat sink and conductor heat, additional cooling will be required for best operation.
Beam Characteristics:
The beam characteristics are similar to the TO-8 and the TOSA package with exception to the window interface.
Connection:
The single lead of the C-mount is connected to the anode of the laser diode. The cathode contact is made via the screw through the heat sink block.
